Oil Absorbent Woodloose

Woodloose is a lightweight oil and fuel absorbent for use on water. It is completely biodegradable, safe to use and a highly efficient oil absorbent. Woodloose will absorb up to 18 times its own weight in oil-based products, even when wet.

Applications

Woodloose has been designed to be used on small-scale spills in a variety of applications including:-

• Refuelling depots
• Bird sanctuaries
• Pools
• Rivers or lakes

Woodloose can be spread over a spill surface and unlike most absorbents, will absorb trace water and eliminate sheen.

Woodloose is particularly well suited as a filtration medium for removing hydrocarbons from storm water collection systems, sump pits and interceptor systems.
